Update of Hybrid Projects Database in Poland

16 hybrid projects for an aggregate value of 4 005 million PLN were identified in 10 Programs implemented in the financial perspective 2007-2013. Hybrid Projects Database was prepared by the Department of Public-Private Partnership Projects’ Support in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development.

Ten projects with a value of 2 845 million PLN in the telecommunication sector is a vast majority of the projects granted co-financing from the EU. Realization of these projects will significantly help to achieve the goals of the Programme Development of Eastern Poland and the Regional Programmes of following Voivodeship: wielkopolskie, dolnośląskie, malopolskie, śląskie and mazowieckie.

The other six projects  with a value of 1 160 million PLN with signed co-financing agreements, contain four differents sectors: waste management, innovation, revitalization, energy efficiency and sport and leisure. Projects are co-financed under the Environmental Protection Operational Programme and the Regional Programmes of pomorskie, śląskie, świętokrzyskie, and lubuskie Voivodeship. Among them one, as the first project in Europe, has benefited from low-interest loans offered by the JESSICA initiative.

Hybrid Projects Database include detailed information on the identified projects, including: the programs, the value of the project, the amount of EU co-financing, the implementation of the PPP model, the stage of project implementation, legal basis for private partner selection, the date of signing PPP contract with its duration and dates of signing EU co-financing agreement.
